Orange Ramshorns are excellent cleaners, eating soft algae, decaying plant matter and leftover fish food. They do best in a stable, well-oxygenated tank with hard enough water to maintain a healthy shell. They can reproduce quickly if there is a lot of excess food, so avoid overfeeding. Calm, attractive and easy to care for, they’re ideal for beginners and experienced keepers.
