Red Cherry Shrimp (Neocaridina davidi var. “Red”) are hardy, colourful freshwater dwarf shrimp that add constant movement and life to any planted aquarium. Their bright red colour stands out beautifully against plants, rock and wood, and they’re perfect for keeping algae and leftover food under control.

Red Cherry Shrimp do best in a well-cycled, stable tank with gentle filtration and plenty of hiding places like moss and plants. They are peaceful and can be kept with small, non-aggressive fish or as a dedicated shrimp colony. Provide good quality shrimp food and regular small water changes, and they’ll breed readily and thrive in your aquarium.
